Seventeen turnings

The 17 turnings are a portion of the secondary road D91 in the department of the Yvelines in France.

This secondary road connects the secondary road D906 to height of Cernay-the-City to the secondary road D10 in Versailles.
In fact, the road of the 17 turnings is located on the commune of Saint-Forget between Dampierre-in-Yvelines in the Vallée de Chevreuse or valley of the Yvette and the plate at the east of the Mesnil-Saint-Denis.

This road acquired a certain reputation in the medium of the Cyclisme insofar as the runners of the Tour de France borrow it almost every year during the last stage which finishes in Paris. This portion of road, moreover, is commonly called coast of the 17 turnings insofar as the cyclists must assemble it!

The coast is not great difficulty in oneself because it hardly exceeds the 8% and is hardly more than one kilometer length but the spectacular aspect is the frequency of the turns on this short distance, which cut the rate/rhythm of the rise.
