Comments

In spite of a scenario less subtle than Let us sing under the rain realized by Stanley Donen two years before, in spite of a not very important budget for this type of films (the film is entirely carried out in studio), the film carries adhesion for choreography époustouflante of Michael Kidd. Certain scenes became scenes of anthology, as for example the picnic which finishes in brawl on a endiablé rate/rhythm.

Contrary to much by musical films, this one was not preceded by a musical comedy with success.

On the other hand, thereafter, various adaptations to the scene were carried out.

The French singer Lio interpreted Molly on a Parisian scene.
