Seven islands of Bombay
Seven islands were joined together at the XIXe century to form the town of Mumbai (in the past Bombay):

the island of Bombay
- Colaba
- small Colaba (in English Old Woman' S Island)
- Mahim
- Mazagaon
- Parel
- Worli
The islands close to Trombay and Salsette also belong to Large Bombay.
The only islands remaining in bay of Bombay are:
- the Island of Éléphanta (Gharapuri)
- Butcher Island
- the coastal battery (Middle Ground Coastal Battery)
- the rock of the oyster (Oyster Rock'n'roll)
- East Ground
