Setting in music of the poems of Charles Baudelaire

Maurice Rollinat was one of the first to put poems of Baudelaire in music: the Invitation with the voyage , the water Jet, the Owls .
Claude Debussy put in music five poems of Baudelaire in 1890: the Balcony , Harmony of the evening , the water Jet, Meditation and the snake which dances .
Serge Gainsbourg put in music the Snake which dances . The song was taken again by François Feldman on the album Magic' boul' vard in 1991.
Léo Ferré devoted two whole albums to him.
