Seto (瀬戸市, Seto-shi ) is a city (市, shi ) located close to Nagoya in the Préfecture of Aichi, with the Japan. The name of the city means place where the river runs quickly, however, although there is a river with Seto, this one runs only slowly. The city was founded the October 1929. Population of the east city of 132.190 inhabitants for a surface of 111,62 km ² (2005). Seto is known for its ceramics (one of the Japanese words for ceramics is said besides: object of Seto : setomono, 瀬戸物).
