He is elected appointed the June 16th 2002, for XIIe legislature (2002 - 2007), in the Second district Allier and made, until his resignation the March 16th 2007, left the communist group.

Youth and trade unionism
The father of Pierre Goldberg was factor of the Stations. However, in its youth, the vocation of the future deputy and mayor of Montlucon is not to follow the driving way towards postal and telecommunications authorities. He prefers the ground and engages himself as farm laborer. He exerts this trade until the twenty years age. Over all, there is the militancy which it discovers during the war of Algeria. It contacts the UJRF little (Union of the republican youth of France) before this youth organization does not take again the name of Mouvement of the Communist youth of France. In 1956, it takes part in a national congress, where the end of work is greeted by a veteran of French Communism, Marcel Cachin. But it there with the life. After twenty-eight month a military service, it enters to the postal and telecommunications authorities, like auxiliary, with Montlucon… like his father. From 1961 to 1977, studying the professional courses while working, it progresses in a " career professionnelle" who leads it to be a chief of sector of telecommunications and tallies. It is with the CGT postal and telecommunications authorities that it adheres initially and it is militant at the same time trade unionist at the postal and telecommunications authorities as it makes his political beginnings with the French Communist party.In November 1991, the former trade unionist of the postal and telecommunications authorities accommodates in his town of Montlucon the 28e Congrès of the National federation of the workers of the PTT-CGT.
Condemned to one year of ineligibility, six months of imprisonment and the payment of 800.900 euros damage and intérêtes at the Town of Montlucon for seven fictional jobs (3 municipal employees working with the seat of the local section from the Communist party and four with the local radio Radio operator Montlucon Bourbonnais), Pierre Goldberg resigned of his mandate of deputy on March 16th, 2007.
