Service of infrastructure of defense

Created at the end of 2005, the Service of Infrastructure of Defense (or SID ) gathers the three old entities in load of the management of the real inheritance of the ministry for Defense:

• the Central management of the Genius (Army),
• the Central management of the Infrastructure of the Air (Air force)
• and the Central management of Real estate works and Maritime (National marine).

Integrated into the General secretary for the Administration, the SID includes/understands a central management as well as regional managements of the genius and the establishments of the genius which are attached to them, the local directions of work maritime, the Technical service of the Building industries, Fortifications and Work, the Technical service of Real estate works and Maritime, the National school of Maritime Work, the directions of work overseas and abroad as well as the local services manufacturers abroad set up near the prépositionnées forces.
