A serum indicates a Liquide impregnating the cell S of the séreuses membranes.
It indicates in particular the Blood plasma purified, removed from the factors of coagulation.
Other meanings:
- Physiological salt solution
- serum anti Venom
The serum is also a manner of stopping or of avoiding a major infection or which can become mortal.
The serum is still a fraction of centrifuged blood. It is composed of white red blood corpuscles, plates and globules.
