Serranía national park Neblina
The National park Serranía Neblina ( Parks Nacional Serranía Neblina ) is a national park of the Venezuela.
Situation
It is in the state of Amazonas, in the south-west of the national park Parima Tapirapecó. This park is next to the border Brésil ienne. It recovers the zone of the mountains of Neblina. This solid mass culminates with: 3040 meters with Pico Neblina. This mountainous solid mass is continuously covered with clouds, which is at the origin of its name of “ Neblina ”. Located in full Amazonia, it is the highest rise in South America, apart from the Andes cordillera.
Description
Serranía Neblina is largest Tepuy on ground. The relief is notched by deep valleys. This tepuy massive is indeed cut into two by the Cañon Grande of Río Baría, one of cañons deepest of the world. The park belongs to the reserve of the Biosphere of the Viola-Orinoco-Casiquiare , with the park Parima Tapirapecó.
Flora
The park has a very varied endemic vegetation. One finds there a shrub which exists only in the park, the Neblinaria celiae . One also finds there a whole variety of plants carnivores.
Fauna
The mammals abound, like the Jaguar, the danta (or Tapirus terrestris ), the cunaguaro (or Felis pardalis ) and various species of monkeys; the snakes are many and multicoloured like the boa S emeralds, the anaconda S, the bothrops, and the mapanare S greens (more exactly lachesis transferred ), these two very poisonous last.
