Sermaises is a common French, located in the department of the Loiret and the area Center.
Geography
History
Bottom Latin " Sarmatia" : camping of Sarmates, populates Iranian origin, limited a long time by a ground lifting which one still called with the " the confin of Sermaises" , known as still " way herbu of Saint-Loup" , located at Direction - Chartres and the Roman road railway crossing of Pithiviers to Stamps. This elevated way was divided and sold after the Revolution. The abbot of Holy-Dove-the-Direction was retributive lord of the place at the 18th century, and its order had founded a Priory-cure there. The city was strengthened under François Ier.
