Serious Dancers Union
Serious Dancers Union is the seventh album studio of the group American Rock Soul Asylum. It is appeared the October 6th 1992 on Columbia Records and was certified double-platinum (two million sold specimens) with the the United States, in addition to spending 76 weeks on the prize list of the sales Billboard. The success of the disc held especially of the popularity of individual the " Runaway Train " , launched in 1993, which received in 1994 the price Grammy of the best song rock'n'roll.

Titrate and small pocket
No song is called Serious Dancers Union . The title comes rather from the text of the song " Without has Trace" : “ I tried to dance At has funeral, New Orleans style/I joined the Serious Dancers Unions, I had to file ”.The small pocket of the album is an erotic photograph of Jan Saudek.

Anecdotes
- the album was carried out by Michael Beinhorn. This last, dissatisfied of the beater Grant Young, called upon another musician, Sterling Campbell, which exploited of the battery several pieces, in particular the hit " Runaway Train". A few years later, Campbell replaced officially Young like beater.
- the singer Dave Pirner often dedicates the part " Without has Trace" with the original bass player of Drunk person Asylum, Karl Mueller, deceased in 2005.
