Serhiy Honchar

Serguei Gonchar is an Ukrainian racing cyclist. He was born the July 3rd 1970 with Rivne. He begins his career in 1996 in the IDEAL team. He acquired his principal victories at the time of against-the-watch thanks to his great qualities of wheeler. Nevertheless, it is a complete runner as attest it its places with the general classification of the Tour of Italy. It is distinguished especially by gaining the Championship from the World from the against-the-watch with Plouay in 2000. In 2006, it signs a contract in the team T-Mobile of Jan Ullrich. Victim of a fall at the time of the Turn of Italy 2006, it will return on the Tour de France by gaining two victories of stage. In 2007 it is suspended then laid off by T-mobile following a suspect blood control.
