Sergueï Isotov
Sergueï Petrovitch Isotov (* 1917, † 1983) was a Engineer aeronautical Russian driving originator of S of aviation.
He had studied at the polytechnic Institute of Leningrad then was engaged at Klimov where he developed especially engines of helicopters in the years 1950. He became assistant of Vladimir Klimov then his successor as from 1960.
It is him which conceived inter alia the first Russian turbine engines for helicopter Klimov TV2-117 and Klimov TV3-117 as well as the associated gear-boxes. These engines were built with more than 40.000 specimens. Engines equipping inter alia some Hélicoptère S Mil bear also its name.
It was decorated for its work Héros with socialist work and accepted the Prix Lénine and the Prix of the State of the Soviet Union.
