Sergio

Sergio ( Serge Drouard with the civil statue) is an artist of Cirque, leader of review and presenter of television French.

He begins his career as a clown with Dominique Denis like partner: " Fabulous Hermanos" such is the advertizing slogan which is registered on the posters of the Circus of Bouglione Winter. They are certainly the youngest clowns who occur on such a prestigious track. They will be in particular brought to occur with the Track with Stars at the sides of Roger Lanzac. At the time of a round with the Bouglione Circus, it passes from clown to Mr Loyal, this last being sick. Made up as a clown with a costume spangled Vicar on the shoulders, it presents all the spectacle. Beautiful effect in front of the gardine! The character of clown with white face in front of a curtain crimson can only be sublime! This change of role (although there are some similarities) will mark its life forever. It is besides in Mr Loyal that Sergio makes known himself general public, thanks to the television of which it animates with masterliness the evenings " cirque" until the disappearance of those. During her career, Sergio occurred with the Cirque of Winter Bouglione of Paris (of 1965 to 1975, then again as from 2002), with the Ringling Bros Barnum & Bailey (at the end of the years 1970), with the Jean-Richard Circus (in the years 1980, and more recently with the Casartelli Circus. It became the Organizer of the International festival of the Circus of Monaco as of its creation in 1974. Moreover, he was leader of review to the Latin Paradis (of 1983 to 1995) and to the Royal Palace of Kirrwiller (in 1999 and 2000). He was the organizer of the International festival of the Circus of Massy (the Essonne) of his creation until 1999, then he leaves his place to Christophe IVANES. More recently, in September 2007, it presented the 1st Festival of the Circus of Turns.

Clown of Gold to the Festival of the Circus of Monaco in 1994, it published in this same year a book prefaced by Jacqueline Cartier and entitled Cirque, my love .

At the beginning of 2007 it is promoted with the rank of Commander in the Order of Arts and the Letters. It is his/her friend Alain Delon who gives to him, on January 12th, 2007, the badges of this decoration under the capital of the 15th International festival of the Circus of Massy (the Essonne).
