Sergey Karjakin

Sergey Karjakin (in Ukrainian СергійКарякін; in Russian СергейКарякин) is a player of failures born in 1990 in Ukraine. It is youngest GMI of all times, by obtaining this title at 12 years and 7 months.

Karjakin gained many successes in the young categories and beat very strong GMI, in particular Vladimir Kramnik in blitz. It entered world signal 100 on April 1st 2005 where it occupied the 64e world rank with a Classement Elo to 2635. At October 1st 2007, Sergey Karjakin occupies the 24e world place with a Elo classification to 2694.
