Sergei Gonchar

Sergeï Viktorovitch Gontchar - СергейГончар, Sergej Gončar - (born the April 13rd 1974 with Tcheliabinsk in the USSR today town of Russia) is a player of professional hockey.

Career of player

He begins his career in 1991 - 92 in the Championnat of Russia of hockey (Russian Super Liga) while playing for the Traktor Tcheliabinsk. The same year, it is fished out by the Capitals of Washington at the time of the fishing out of entry in the National league of hockey to the 14th position. It did not join for all that continuation the LNH and plays for the Dynamo Moscow during two seasons before joining the North America.

He plays then in the American Ligue of hockey for the Pirates of Portland cement at the end of the season 1993-94.

After having spent 10 seasons with Capitals, Gontchar is exchanged with the Bruins of Boston in March 2004 in return of Shaone Morrisonn and two choices to the fishing out.
