Serge Portelli

Serge Portelli is vice-president with the Tribunal of Paris, president of the 12th Criminal Court. He was adviser near the president of the National Assembly and senior of the examining magistrates to the court of Creteil. Serge Portelli is also member of the Syndicat of the magistrature, this last being marked on the left.

Serge Portelli is regularly invited by the media because of many works which he wrote on the questions of Maltraitance of the children, on the treatment of the repetition and on the reform of the Justice.

It also proved to be savage opposing Nicolas Sarkozy.

In the emission Responses , Nicolas Sarkozy reproached him an excessive sales leaflet and a behavior in favor by estimating that “the French are in right to await another behavior of a magistrate who must judge in the name of French people and not a Idéologie”. Serge Portelli estimated as for him that Mr. Sarkozy “tried to make fear with the French”, “to quote a figure coarsely false” and diagnosed a “obvious failure” of his policy and a “error of analysis”.

There in an article published on the Big Bang Blog, Daniel Schneidermann states “to be very impressed” by the service of Serge Portelli this day. The business Ruptures

He is the author into 2007 of Ruptures , a book which draws up the assessment of Nicolas Sarkozy to the Ministère of the Interior. The work had at the origin being published by the Michalon editions before the presidential election before being deferred, because of “pressures” according to the author, the owner of the Michalon editions being a friend of Nicolas Sarkozy.

By an official statement of April 20th, 2007, the editions Michalon write: “on February 9th, after reading and considering that this text was disappointing as well by its form as by its bottom, we expressed our reservation as for a possible publication. The very same day, Serge Portelli answered us by email: “ok, one drops, I publish on the Net. thank you”. The business should have remained about it there… It is certainly easier, for its reputation, to pass for a victim of the Censure to be the author of a missed manuscript. ”
