Serge Kampf

Serge Kampf (born on October 13rd, 1934 with Grenoble) is a French, creative business man and chair French software firm Capgemini.

Biography

Laid off in economic scenes and readjusted with ENA, it creates with three colleagues Sogeti in 1967 with Grenoble. Under its presidency, the group is internationalized and developed to become Capgemini, a Multinationale with dimensions with CAC 40. It holds 4,6% today of them.

It will be:

  • chairman of creation until May 23rd, 1996, then
  • President at the time of the passage of the company in Public limit company with Directory.
  • This until May 23rd, 2000, Cap Gemini becoming again a public limit company with Board of directors.
  • From the May 24th, 2002, it finds the president's function in the framework of the dissocation of the president's functions and Managing director in order to be in conformity with the laws known as NRE.

He is also a large expert and sponsor of the Rugby and he is member of the Académie of the sports.
