Serge Gruzinski is a French historian, specialist in the Latin America, born on November 5th 1949 with Tourcoing.
Course
Former student of the
National school of the charters, then member of the
French School of Rome (1973-1975) and of the
Put of Velázquez to
Madrid. Director of studies to the
School of the high studies in social sciences since
1993, it is interested in colonizations of America and Asia, in particular with the colonial experiments like place of interbreedings and birth of hybrid spaces and like first manifestations of universalization.
