Serge Golovine
Serge Golovine is a Danseur and pedagog French born with Monaco the October 30th 1924 and died with Boulogne-Billancourt the July 31st 1998. Formed with Nice by Julie Sedova, he dances with the Ballet of Monte Carlo during the Second world war, then joined the Nouveau Ballet of Monte Carlo, between with the Opéra of Paris in 1947 and rejoins the Grand Ballet of the Marquis de Cuevas in 1951.
He quickly becomes one of the principal dancers about it, admired for his lightness.
He founds his own company in 1962 and is engaged as ballet master to the Grand Theater of Geneva of 1964 with 1969.
Preferring the teaching of the dance, it opens a school with Geneva and becomes professor at the School of dance of the Opera of Paris of 1981 with 1997.
It held its most remarkable roles in the Spectrum of the pink , Sleeping Beauty and Petrouchka .
In 1996, it marries the dancer Claude Bessy.
It is buried with Corsica Lumio in near Calvi.
