Serge Doubrovsky

Serge Doubrovsky , born in 1928, is critical arts person and writer. He was also professor in the New York University. Its work comprises at the same time critical tests and autobiographical novels. It qualifies to him even its novels not of Autobiographie, but of Autofiction. It receives the Prix Médicis 1989 for the Book broken.

It is known for its innovative vision on the part of Root, Britannicus : the search of Néron would be, in addition to that of the capacity, the erotism. To manage to show it, it diverts the vocabulary of the text by giving him an erotic direction, in the direction where what satisfies an incipient monster is the image, the frontage outside, and not the depth to be it.
