Serge Degallaix
Serge Degallaix , born on September 5th, 1947 in Denain (Northern), is a French high-civil servant
He is the current ambassador of France in Tunisia.
Serge Degallaix is graduate National school of administration, promotion Simone Weil (1974).
Diplomatic career
In 1974 it returned to the Ministry for Foreign Affairs in 1974. From 1989 to 1992 he is ambassador in Bangladesh (Dacca). He reinstates his post of ambassador of France in 1996 while directing the diplomatic representation of France in Vietnam (Hanoï) until 2001. Since September 22nd, 2005, he is the new ambassador of France in Tunisia.
Other administrative offices
Between 2002 and 2005, he is the diplomatic adviser and for the strategic businesses of the Prime Minister, Mr. Jean-Pierre Raffarin.
Notable facts
At the time of the International crisis of the caricatures of Mahomet, the ambassador Serge Degallaix declared in an interview published in the Tunisian newspaper the Daily newspaper to include/understand the emotion caused by the publication of the caricatures.,
