Serge Clerk

Serge Clerc is an illustrator and author of Cartoons French born on October 12th, 1957 with Roanne.

It begins its career by drawing accounts from Science-fiction in a style inspired of Moebius before developing, throughout its collaboration with the magazine Métal howling between 1975 and 1987, a feature with the purified and original brush, which joined in certain connections the graphic searchs for Ever Meulen and Yves Chaland, and approaching the “clear Ligne”.

Drawing from the design of the years 1930 to 50, it has as subjects of predilection art, the music Rock' roll and the Science-fiction, which it decorates of a dandyque humor and melancholic person.

As from the years 1980, it draws small pockets of albums for Joe Jackson and Carmel before carrying out illustrations for the publicity and titles of press like Libération or the Figaroscope .
