The Chat of race Serengeti comes from a crossing of a father Bengal (downward cat of the cat-Leopard) and of a mother Orientale. The race is regarded as “thoroughbred” and is recognized by the TICA.
Ideal conformation, is of average size with long muscular legs and bones coriaces, the body are of form cylindrical and long, the male is broader than the female. The tail is long, thin and solid.
The dress of Sereneti “taby” gray pale or beige, is mottled black spots or brown dark. There is also Serengeti “silver” which is of a silver plated gray, mottled shaded black spots.
The Serengeti cat is very hunter, just like its ancestors the Leopards. It pushes a cry (growls and sighs) which is distinguished from the other cats, when it is in position of hunting. The Serengeti cat is not wild, due to the temperament of sound with dimensions maternal, the Eastern race of cat. It is in general very affectionate with the human ones. He converses enormously and holds a very powerful voice.
