The serbo-Bulgarian War (in Serb Cyrillic Sr Српско-бугарскират and into Serb transliterated Sr Srpsko-bugarski rat, in Bulgarian bg Сръбско-българскавойна}, is a conflict which lasted from November 14th, 1985 to March 3rd, 1886 between the Serbia and the Bulgaria. This war revealed the instability of the Balkans in spite of the payment of peace imposed by the treated of Berlin of July 13rd, 1878.
During the negotiations of this treaty, the two States intended to recover more territories of the Ottoman Empire. The Eastern Roumélie was separated from Bulgaria and remained in the Ottoman Empire. September 18th, 1885, of the Bulgarian nationalists tried to attach Roumélie to Bulgaria. Serbia was opposed to this fastening. Against the public opinion of sound royaum and against the opinion of the army, the king of Serbia Milan Ier claimed part of the territory in Bulgaria and launched out in an offensive foreign politics to try to mask the interior conflicts of Serbia. He declared the war in Bulgaria on November 14th, 1885 and was beaten by the Bulgarian ones with the Bataille of Slivnitsa on November 19th, 1885 and the Bulgarian troops invaded Serbia.
