Sequential access

In data processing, a sequential access means that it must be reached elements in a preestablished sequence and ordinate. The sequential access can be imposed by constraints, for example in the case of the reading of a magnetic band, or chosen according to the needs, for example when one wants only to treat one sequence of objects in the order.

The typical structure of data of the sequential access is the chained list.
