Septuor
In Music, a septuor indicates, either a type of formation, or a Musical genre.
Musical formation
A septuor - or septet , in Jazz - is first of all a musical Ensemble composed of seven Musicien S Soliste S, or of seven groups of musicians - i.e., seven Pupitre S.
Musical genre
A septuor is also a Musical genre dedicated to this type of formation. It indicates a seven piece of music then left simultaneous, intended to be interpreted by seven Soliste S, with or without accompaniment.

In the Classical music, and more precisely, the Chamber music, the word indicates a Sonate for seven instruments soloists. He is frequently written for a combination of cords and winds.
