The BUSINESS OF the “COFFEE OF PARIS”. -- September 27th, 1990, an attack with the grenade against the " Coffee of Paris" , located in full center of Djibouti-city and attended by the French community, had caused the death of a young French and makes 17 wounded. Following this attack, 300 people would have been tortured. Several people shown within this framework are in prison since years: Mohamed Hassan Farah, Abdi Bouh Aden, Mohammed Ali Arreyteh; another accused, Awaleh Guelleh, curiously escaped in 1997.

- War of the Gulf: Saddam Hussein thanks the France for its diplomatic opening and affirms to wish to arrive to “an equitable and total payment” of the crisis. However it refers in its plan of the last August 12th which presented “a comprehensive solution for all the problems of occupation in the area”, referring to the Syriens occupying the Lebanon and to the Israéliens occupying the Gaza Strip and the the West Bank.
