Sendling

Sendling is l´un sector of the German city of Munich. Since the reorganization of 1992, it carries number 6 and gathers the districts of Mittersendling and Untersendling. The district d´Obersendling, previously attached to Sendling, forms now part of the sector Thalkirchen-Obersendling-Forstenried-Fürstenried-Solln.

Sendling is mainly a residential district with many shops bordering the Plinganserstraße around the historical center. C´est a multi-cultural district, with l´un of the strongest d´étrangers percentage of the city.

Localization

The sector is localized in the south-west of the center of the city and is surrounded in north of sectors 8 (Schwanthalerhöhe) and 2 (Ludwigsvorstadt-Isarvorstadt), with l´est of l´ Isar jusqu´au sector 18 (Untergiesing-Harlaching), in the south of sector 19 (Thalkirchen-Obersendling-Forstenried-Fürstenried-Solln) and with l´ouest of sector 7 (Sendling-Westpark).
