A senau is a Voilier of trade and transport.

It has two Mât S gréés in square sails and a mast of Tape-cul. In more one finds a mâtereau near and slightly on the back of the mainmast, smaller and going only until the Hune S, called mast of senau or rod of senau which carries like single veil a Brigantine called veil of senau .
