Senatorial elections of the Democratic republic of Congo of 2007

The senatorial elections of the Democratic republic of Congo of 2007 took place in Democratic republic of Congo the January 19th 2007.

The members of the Senate were chosen by indirect election by the members of the assemblies of provinces. the Alliance for the presidential majority of the president Joseph Kabila gained 56 of the 108 seats, the Union for the Nation of Jean-Pierre Bemba 18 and the other parties and independent 34.
