The Millet Semi-14 (Code NATO: Haze ) is an amphibious helicopter Russian conceived and produced by the company Mil. Its missions are the anti-submarine fight and the search for mines. Its first flight took place in September 1968. It was introduced into the units to replace the old men Mil Semi-4 with piston engines. The Semione was conceived on the basis of Mil Semi-8 and thus has same external dimensions. It was manufactured in the factories of Kazan (see also Kazan Helicopter).

Its startup began in 1977. Until 1991,230 specimens were built. The apparatus was exported in Bulgaria, in Cuba, in North Korea, Libya, Poland, GDR, Romania, Syria and Yugoslavia. In GDR, they equipped the units with the flotilla of navy Marinehubschraubergeschwader 18 (MHG-18) of the Volksmarine to Parow close to Stralsund.

The two turbine engines Klimov/Isotov TV3-117MT of a power of 1435 kw (1950 ch.) each one enabled him to reach a maximum speed of 230 km/h and a cruising speed of 215 km/h. It carried underwater torpedes and bombs in its armament compartment.
