Places and monuments
One owes the castle of Semblançay (currently in ruins, there remains only the keep and a pillar of drawbridge) with Foulques Nerra. Not far from these ruins, one can see the entry of an underground, close to a casing of stone door dating from the Moyen-âge. The home of Jacques of Beaune, which is used as decoration with the spectacle, is today a place of lodging for 25 young people of the Médico-Educational Institute. The field of the Source is since 1967 the property of Association the Source. Before 1967, the property belonged to the F.O.E.F.I (federation of works of the French childhood of Indo-China). To 300 Eurasian children were accommodated and attended the schools of the area.

Tourism
Semblançay organizes every summer a son et lumi2ere display, the legend of the source, which takes part in famous of the village in the area.In Semblançay, to 15 km in the north of Turns, will be presented, this summer, the large historical fresco of Touraine. Meadows of 10.000 spectators follow one another each year, since 1992, in order to follow the spectacle.
Gallo-Roman period with the French revolution, in the park of the home of Jacques of Beaune, superintendent of finances of François 1st, Honore Pottier and his Benjamin grandson revive the History and the legend of the Source.
