Self-criticism

A self-criticism is the fact of considering its own behavior in order to improve it.
In the field of the political vocabulary, and more precisely in the Marxism, self-criticism is the fact, for a politician, a militant, a group of militants to analyze and recognize publicly, in front of the responsible authorities, its political errors or deviations.
The term of self-criticism should not be confused with the Examen of conscience which preserves a religious connotation.
