The Selays are, in the universe of fiction of Star Trek , a species Extraterrestre originating in the Planet Selay.

Physiology

Selays are a carnivorous species humanoïde, of appearance reptilienne. Their face is entirely covered with scales, two broad houses horn frame it. They are constantly in conflict with planet close to the Anticanien S. It appears probable that these two races are predatory one of the other.

History

In 2364, Selays apply to accede to the Fédération, but their conflict relations with their Anticanien neighbor constitutes a serious obstacle (see Star Trek: The new generation : the Recluse - Lonely Among Custom ).

Technology

One knows few things on their technology if not that Selays discovered the distortion little time before their application to join with the Federation.

They use to be defended against the attacks of their neighbors and enemies Anticaniens of the lassos emitting a bluish gleam.
