Sekkan seiji

The sekkan seiji () is a mode of regency by a Sesshô () or a Kampaku () instituted by the Fujiwara until in 1068. Accompanied by a frightening marital policy consisting in giving their daughters for wife to the emperors, this system made it possible Fujiwara to dominate the Court, the central administration and the country in their giving a great influence on all the decisions.
