Seixal is a Portuguese city located in the area of Lisbon.
Seixal is a municipio with the Portugal of a surface of 96 km ² and of a population of approximately 160 000 inhabitants.
The municipio includes/understands six Freguesia S and is in the district of Setúbal.
Seixal is close to “Rio Judeu”, name given to the lagoon formed by the Tage.
The name “Seixal” comes from a type of stone which one finds in the rivers.
The city was a vacation resort snuffed by the aristocracy lisboète at the 17th century.
The freguesia of Amora accommodates the annual festival of the Portuguese Communist party which attracts hundreds of thousands of visitors. It is about a festival of three days music with hundreds of groups and artists Portuguese or not on five different topics: ethnography, gastronomy, debates, living room of the book, theater (of avant-garde) and sporting events. Several foreign Communist parties also take part. Among the Portuguese artists or not who particpé with the festival:

The preparation of the demonstration starts as of the end of the preceding one, by call to the volunteers, generally of the young people, who build a small town in a few months.
