Seimone Augustus (born the April 30th 1984 with Baton-Rouge) is an American player of Basket-ball, evolving/moving at the station of back.

She makes known herself as of her years of college, in Capital High School, school which she leads to the championship of Louisiana two seasons of continuation in 2001 and 2002. She joined then the university of Louisiana State University which she helps to reach, the four seasons of its studies, the national tournament of NCAA, with three participations in the Final Furnace, eliminated each time at the stage from the semi-final. That gives the opportunity to him to receive many distinctions.

That also gives him the honor to be selected in the first place of the draft 2006 by the Minnesota Lynx. It finishes the season as a better beginner, like 2nd, with 21.9 points, behind Diana Taurasi with the classification of the average of points per match.

It also forms part of the American selection which, in spite of its first defeat for 14 years in official competition, has gained the bronze medal with the Championnat of the world 2006 which was held with the Brésil.
