Seijin
In occident, the word seijin is almost exclusively used to indicate a type of Manga. The seijin manga is a manga which is addressed to the adults, and more particularly with the young men. That does not want inevitably to say that its contents are erotic, but often simply that the tackled subjects are more serious and complex (policy, history, police investigations,…) and treaties in a more serious way.
It can however contain erotic contents, which are then often directed towards the Lolicon , or “ Lolita Complex ”: ripe men engaged in stories with young girls.
According to some critical, this recurring representation adult men engaged in sexual relationships with young girls would be due to the type of censure which reigns in Japan, where one prohibits to only represent the sexual organs of the adults: with an young girl, prohibition does not hold any more.
