Seichamps
Seichamps is a common French, located in the department Meurthe-et-Moselle and the area Lorraine.
Its inhabitants is called the seichanais .
Geography
Located at north east of Nancy to 7 km of the Place Stanislas, Seichamps is bordered by the communes of Pulnoy, Essey-the-Nancy, Laneuvelotte, Dommartin-under-Amance, Laître-under-Amance and Agincourt.
History
Primarily agricultural village of 300 inhabitants until the end of the years 1950, Seichamps took its rise thanks to urbanization of a suburban type.
Twinnings
Seichamps is member of the network of the European cities connected by the cheese (network approved by the European Parliament and the Ministry for Agriculture), which has as an main objective the defense and the promotion of cheese to believed milk. Each third weekend from September is organized in Seichamps the European Fair with cheeses and the gastronomy. This demonstration joins together European cities members of the network with which Seichamps maintains the privileged relations:
