Neve Adrianne Campbell is a dancer and Canadian actress, born the October 3rd 1973 with Guelph, in the Ontario (Canada).
Biography
His/her father Gerry, professor of Dramatic art, comes from Glasgow in Scotland and his/her Marnie mother, psychological, comes from Amsterdam, with the Netherlands. It has a brother and two half-brothers.Neve Campbell began her life on the screens as a dancer, it was involved with the National Ballet School with the Canada, and appears in the representations of The Nutcracker and Sleeping Beauty . Following serious wounds, it passes from the dance to the trade of actress at the 15 years age, and plays in the Phantom of the Opera in Pantages Theater with Toronto. Its first great role was in the Canadian televised series Catwalk .
It became famous when it had the first role of Julia Salinger in the drama series for young people Vie to five (title original: Party off Five ), the series headlight of the years 1994 with 2000. It became really a star with films like Dangereuse alliance ( The Craft ), Scream (and its two continuations Scream 2 and Scream 3 ), Sexcrimes ( Wild things ) and One of too ( Three to Tango ). At the oddment Scream, the career of Campbell became less important, it appears in Too Smooth and Investigating Sex which did not have a great success.
At the beginning of 2004, Campbell Co-writing, produced and hold the first role of Company ( The Company ), a film on the Joffrey Ballet of Chicago directed by Robert Altman. In spite of the rumors of the pre-exit, Campbell did not break her tradition to have a clause of not-nudity in her contract for film. It had of it also for When Will I Be Loved , left in 2004.
Neve Campbell married with Jeff Colt in 1995, but they divorced in 1997.
It appears in a literary campaign and vidéos for the Tourette Syndrome Foundation with the Canada and Tourette Syndrome Association with the the United States. One of his/her brothers suffers from this syndrome.
She married with the English actor John Light on May 5th 2007 and took English nationality.
