Sefseri
The sefseri (rear RTL سفساري), also spelled safsari or sefsari , is a female veil traditional range in Tunisia.
It is composed of a broad roll of material covering all the body of the woman. It is in general of cream-coloured color in Coton, Satin or Soie.
According to the areas of Tunisia, it can also be very coloured, in particular in the south of the country.
It is carried by the women by Pudeur and to avoid the male glances. One côtoie today in Tunisia of the women carrying this immense scarf with women who do not carry it. Often, a mother carries it while his/her daughter will not carry it. After the independence of Tunisia, the president Habib Bourguiba had tried, in vain, to make some give up employment.
