Seeed

Seeed is a group of Reggae/Ragga (Dancehall/Dub) Berliner created in 1998, currently composed of 11 people. The group has several musical orientations and uses instruments varied such as the Trombone and the Saxophone which are a little like their musical signature. Another characteristic on the level of their texts is that they often mix German and English, additional proof of their originality. Their music starts to be made known in addition to Germany; this is in particular due to their collaboration with Anthony B for their song Waterpumpee or with Elephant Man for Shake Baby Shake . They have 3 albums with their credit. Their abroad growing success, they decides to leave in 2004 a more international version their album Music Monks . This new version is made up of the same songs but the text is, this time, mainly in English.

Seeed starts little by little to be made known in France. One unfortunately could see them only some rare times on a French scene:

  • With the Eurockéennes of Belfort in 2004 when their leader even allowed a small French song!
  • One also saw them with the Solidays of 2005.
  • They made the first part of the concert of Sean Paul in Paris in July 2006
  • They took part in the Fête of Humanity 2006
  • Concert with the Elysium Montmartre in Paris on November 21st, 2006.
It is a group which moves and which has energy to resell as they show it on scene (by impromptu choreographies), but also in their clips where they show much imagination and originality.

Since November 3rd, 2006, the DVD Live is on sale. One finds it however only in Germany.
