A security policy is an action plan defined to preserve the integrity and the perenniality of a social group. It reflects the strategic vision of the direction of the organization (SME, SME, Industrie, administration, state, unions of states…).

• main trends and generic principles to apply, techniques and organisational;
• persons in charge;
• the organization of the various actors.

The principal fields of a security policy are:

• the Internal security : “public Security policy”, also called “interior security policy” * the National security : “Defense policy”, also called “national security policy” * the Road safety : “road Security policy” * the Safety of information : “Security policy of information”, also called “Security policy of the information system (and déclinable in data-processing Security policy, and then one or more “security policies system” and “security policies of the network”)
