Secret wars

Historical first crossover of the editions Marvel , the Secret Guerres ( Secret Wars ) put in scene a good part of the Super-unpleasant Super-héros and of the editor. Initiated by the Beyonder , god the Almighty of a universe côtoyant ours, this dantesque confrontation had long-term effects on the Marvel Universe .

Summary

The crossover cuts out in two parts: one devoted to the confrontation between Super-unpleasant Supermen and , and the other more philosophical located on Earth. After having been demolishes, the Beyonder chooses to incarnate itself in human being for better learning from Humanity. Finally, the Beyonder will be returned in its universe thanks to the dependant efforts of all the supermen, and especially of Money the Surfer helped of the Man-molecule.

Secret Wars I

In the first part of the Secret Wars , the Beyonder remains an enigmatic character which one never sees appearance. However, when Fatalis tries to defy it after having borrowed the cosmic capacity of Galactus, the Beyonder appears in the form of a bright light.

Doctor Fatalis is quickly embanked by the power of the Beyonder . To the anguish, he manages néammoins to steal his capacity to him, and the Beyonder is seen reduced to a simple luminous halation. It then finds refuge in the body of the demented person Klaw, super-unpleasant composed of its digest which holds place of buffoon at Fatalis.

When this last destroys the HQ of the heroes using his capacity, the Beyonder instills the doubt as for the death of the heroes into the spirit of Fatalis. Once Fatalis become paranoiac, it allows their resurrection and, finally, their victory. The Beyonder then recovers the totality of its capacity.

Secret Wars II

In the second part of the Secret Wars , one sees it to be incarnated on Earth to try to learn the lifestyle from human while mingling with them. Its first incarnation is a grotesque composite of the heroes and unpleasant whom it attracted on Battleword , and it is not long in drawing the attention of the super-heroic community. It takes then the form of Steve Rogers, alias Captain America, from which it is different by adopting a brown and curly hair.

By studying the human desire, the Beyonder causes various catastrophes, the such transformation of a building into gold into payment of the services of Luke Cage. The Beyonder is quickly confronted with its own dissatisfaction when in love with Dazzler, it is seen rejected by this one. A friendly relation with an young girl who will become Meltdown also finishes by a treason.

Seeking council near the Doctor Strange, the Beyonder discovers its goal: to allow the others to achieve itself. It created a sect then encouraging the discovery of his own desires and the search for their achievement. He is again confronted with the failure: the Beyonder indeed meets the Puma, being intended to destroy it. It must then choose between its survival and the achievement of its destiny, it be-with saying to provide to the Puma the means of removing it.

The intervention of Spiderman will ruin them both. The Beyonder becomes darker then and decides to destroy the universe, source of dissatisfaction. Its first victims will be the Nouveaux Mutants, which it kills then brings back to the life to oppose them to the heroes. Secret Wars III

The series the Four Fantastic offers an epilog to the Secret Guerres . Doctor Fatalis lost part of his memory, therefore of his integrity, because of handling of the Beyonder in the Secret first and second Wars. He proposes with Fantastic, carried out by Ben Grimm, to join it in his search of the Beyonder . This one leads to the following revelation: the discovery of the Earth by the Beyonder is due at the origin of the capacities of Owen Reece, the Man-Molecule. The Man Molecule must reinstate the Beyonder in order to allow this last to complete his evolution in the form of the cosmic Cube, Cube exauçant the wishes of that which holds it, and whose nature explains the will of the Beyonder to study the human desire.

Beyond!

The series Beyond! echoes the first series of the Secret Guerres . Several heroes and unpleasant are brought on Battleworld by a cosmic entity identified initially like the Beyonder , but which proves to be the Foreigner.
