Secret service
A secret Service is characterized by the Secret (in particular the Secret of State) which surrounds its organization, its activities, even the nature of its activities.
This neutral expression is employed for organizations, whose secrecy or nature discussed of the activities, makes difficult of other more precise designations:
- Intelligence service
- Secret police
- Political police
