Secondary industry
In economy, the secondary industry , among the three economic sectors defined in the National accounting, gathers the linked activities with the transformation of the raw materials resulting from the Primary sector.
This sector, even if it represents a relatively modest share of GDP of the developed Pays (for example 20.6% in France in 2006), is regarded as strategic; it provides uses of Engineer and provides work of research and development to companies of the Tertiary sector.
