In Switzerland, the secondary degree II corresponds to the study period which intervenes after the compulsory schooling. It is located between the end of the secondary Degré I and obtaining a first diploma. Three ways of studies are possible in the secondary degree II: the training, the school of general culture and the school of maturity.
