  • 1 {{er}}   March:

    • With Moscow, the Union of the Polish patriots ZPPP publishes the program of the Polish working Party and shows the Polish government in exile with London to be passive with regard to the Germany and to be anti-Soviet.
  • March 4th:

    • Departure of the 50e convoy of deportation of the Jews of France Le_convoi_n%C2%B050, of the Camp of Drancy towards Majdanek: approximately 1000 deportees, 3 survivors in 1945.
  • 12 with the March 29th:

    • allied Conference in Washington between Roosevelt, Eden, Lirviniov and Soong.
  • March 13rd:

    • an Underwater Italian, Da Vinci (Commander Gazzana-Priaroggia), runs the steamer Empress off Canada off Freetown in South Africa, 400 people perish of which some aviators of free France. Da Vinci was cast in its turn on May 23rd, 1943 by two British destroyers.
    • German Reconquest of Kharkov by von Manstein.
  • February 20th:

    • Beginning of the offensive of Montgomery on the Line Mareth.
