The Second head office of Vienna (July 14th - September 12th 1683) mark an important turning in the European history by its exit with the terrible repercussions for the Ottoman Empire
It is raised the September 12th after the Bataille of Kahlenberg, gained by the Christians over the Turks. The Polish king Jean III Sobieski pushes back the Turkish top dog, Kara Mustafa, made at the doors of Vienna to the head of 180 000 men.
Without the intervention of king de Pologne, the monarchy of the Habsbourg would undoubtedly have crumbled and the Islam, already installed in the Balkans and in Hungary, would have been probably established until in Bohemia and Germany of the South. This Polish victory marks the beginning of the European decline of the Ottoman Empire and that of the rise of the Austrian power .
